Training / Pilot evaluation on CAD drawing skills according to Japanese standards

Assessment of drawing presentation skills according to JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards) is a well-defined Japanese industrial standard used for industrial activities in Japan. The standardization process is coordinated by the Japan Industrial Standards Committee and published through the Japan Standards Association.

Training skills to use AutoCAD proficiently will help employees have the ability to organize, manage and execute technical drawings in a scientific, efficient, fast, accurate manner and shorten the time to handle situations when drawing.

Grasping the need to improve skills and train technical workers from Enterprises/Groups, at the same time, with the approval of the Department of Vocational Skills - General Department of Vocational Training, The Training Center of Saigon Hi-tech Park (SHTP Training) in collaboration with the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare organized a pilot event to evaluate vocational skills "Drawing 3rd-level CAD designs according to Japanese standards" from October 25, 2021 to October 29, 2021.

In order to ensure the 5K message of the Ministry of Health, SHTP Training has piloted an organization for 10 Engineers/Technologists from Enterprises/Corporations inside and outside Saigon Hi-tech Park. The entire exam process of the candidates took place with online supervision and direct assessment of 15 experts trained by Japan (including 12 experts from Enterprises and Vocational Schools in Ho Chi Minh City and 03 experts participated online from Hanoi Industrial Vocational College).

Candidates who pass the exam will receive a certificate issued by the Japanese Ministry of Health and Labor Welfare. After 5 days of implementation, the program has achieved remarkable milestones:

+ The first program on CAD was held in Ho Chi Minh City (The Training Center of Saigon High-tech Park is a trusted choice);

+ The first program on CAD with the participation of online assessment trainers (Hanoi Industrial Vocational College);

+ The first program in Ho Chi Minh City has an evaluator who is a visiting lecturer of SHTP Training and currently also working at an Enterprise (Khai Phuong Mechanical Co., Ltd);

+ The first program in Vietnam with 100% of candidates passing the theory exam of Vocational Skills according to Japanese standards (Exam questions are taken from the question bank of the Japanese Ministry of Health and Labor Welfare);

+ The program was held with online observation from Korean Enterprises (Hwacheon Machine Tool Vietnam Co., Ltd); Japanese enterprises (Toyooka Automation Company, Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam, SMC Vietnam, ...)
