Saigon Hi-Tech Park welcomes Delegation of Dong Nai City Department of Science and Technology

On the afternoon of August 6, 2026, at its Office Conference, the Management Board of Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP Management Board) organized a working session with a delegation from the Dong Nai city’s Department of Science and Technology, in response to the Official Letter No. 3370/SKHCN-CĐS dated July 27, 2026.

On the side of the SHTP Management Board, the reception was chaired by Dr. Nguyen Viet Long, Vice President of the SHTP Management Board, together with leaders of the relevant divisions, including Investment Promotion; Enterprise Management; Science Technology Management and International Cooperation; Construction Planning and Environment Management, as well as leaders of subsidiary units: the Research and Development Center, the Training Center, the Hi-Tech Business Incubator, the Management Board of Investment Construction Project, and the Biotechnology Center.

The delegation from the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology comprised 14 delegates, led by Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Department, together with representatives from the Culture and Social Affairs Committee of the Dong Nai People's Council, the Department of Finance, the Management Board of Industrial Parks and Economic Zones, and the Digital Transformation Division of the Department.

Delivering welcoming remarks, Dr. Nguyen Viet Long, Vice President of the SHTP Management Board, expressed his pleasure in receiving the delegation and affirmed that the Management Board remains ready to share its practical experience in building, managing and operating of Saigon Hi-Tech Park. He noted that the visit offered an opportunity for exchange between the two sides to identify suitable solutions for promoting investment in the digital technology industry in their respective localities.

During the session, representatives of SHTP Management Board presented an overview of the formation, organizational structure, management and operation of Saigon Hi-Tech Park, and shared practical experience in infrastructure planning, project management, and policies to support and attract investment in the digital technology industry, particularly data center, semiconductor, and artificial-intelligence related data infrastructure projects.

Speaking at the working session, Mr. Nguyen Minh Quang, Deputy Director of the Dong Nai Department of Science and Technology and head of the delegation, thanked the SHTP Management Board for its thoughtful reception and emphasized that the visit held significant importance, providing the delegation with practical insights to advise the Dong Nai Municipal Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee on formulating investment attraction policies, particularly for data infrastructure and semiconductor projects. He expressed confidence that the experience shared during the visit would open the way for long-term cooperation between the two localities.

The working session was a practical activity to strengthen cooperation and experience-sharing among localities in the Southeast region on the development of the digital technology industry, semiconductors, and data infrastructure, contributing to closer regional linkages in the spirit of Resolution No. 16-NQ/TW dated July 21, 2026 on the development of Dong Nai city to 2035, with a vision to 2065. The information and experience exchanged at the session will serve as an important basis for policy research and advisory work to attract investment in the development of the digital technology industry in Dong Nai city in the coming period.

Following the working session, the delegation visited the Hi-Tech Park Research and Development Center and toured a digital technology enterprise located at the HDBank Building in Saigon Hi-tech Park.
